To prepare, you will need to obtain a tourist or travel visa when heading to Vietnam. You must also have a passport with at least six months’ validity remaining and one free visa page for the entry stamp.

You may apply for a Vietnamese visa online, having an e-visa or pre-approval for a visa on arrival. The visa will allow you to travel in the country for up to 30 days, though you may be able to extend its validity, depending on the extension policies of your embassy.

You should contact your local embassy to see your options when wanting to travel around Vietnam for longer.

Also, do take note that there are no vaccinations requires, nor are their currency restrictions upon entry and exit.

Cost of Living and Local Communities

What’s great about Vietnam is that they have a very low cost of living compared to other Asian countries. One can live comfortably in Vietnam under $2,000 a month!

Vietnam is one of the cheapest countries to live in!”

For instance, meals can cost between $2 to $20, with the higher range being good for two in a mid-range restaurant.

Rent can range between $300 to $900 a month, depending on where you want to rent and how many bedrooms you need.

As for co-working spaces, expect to pay an average of $80 a month for your membership, which includes a slot for you, along with a personal locker, free refreshments, and internet, among other excellent perks!

When talking about the community, you will be happy to know that Vietnamese people are very kind towards tourists and foreigners. They will be glad to show you around and even make great connections in the local business scene.

From their beautiful historical attractions down to how clean and conducive their coworking spaces are for remote working, Vietnam is perfect to increase your productivity.
