Matt's Bio

Matt is working at the intersection of digital nomad tourism, community building, and experiential travel. His mission is simple but bold: to turn the unique charm of places into experiences that make people’s hearts dance. Guided by his motto, “Be a dancer in your life,” he believes meaningful projects are born from curiosity, movement, and a touch of creative madness.

He is the founder of NomadResort Inc., a company focused on revitalizing regions by reimagining unused spaces and local culture as destinations for nomads, creators, and globally minded travelers. NomadResort collaborates with government bodies such as the Japan Tourism Agency and local municipalities, with successful projects across Okinawa, Hakuba, Goto, Fukuoka, and Noto.

Before entering the world of regional tourism and nomad projects, Matt built his career in marketing, digital transformation (DX), and strategic sales - experience that later shaped his work launching and supporting digital nomad initiatives with local governments in Japan.

Today, he works nationwide with public institutions and private organizations to explore new models of sustainable tourism, place-based creativity, and cross-cultural communities. Alongside this work, Matt is also launching music and wellness festivals in Okinawa and Fukuoka, using culture and creativity as tools for deeper international exchange and long-term community building. Through his writing and projects, he shares on-the-ground insights into how destinations can grow into places where people truly want to live, create, and belong.
